Step-by-step DIY
1. Succulents prep

Without electricity, you can’t charge your laptop, just as you can’t make this DIY without succulents. So, let’s prepare our succulents first.
Just take some cuttings from your favorite succulents. If you want a vibrant ball, choose colorful succulents. Before giving them a cut, sterilize your scissors with 70% alcohol, or you can pluck pups if your succulent produces them.
Our focus is on getting the longest stem possible, without any roots or soil attached. Clean the succulent stems and keep a damp rag to wipe your hands, or wear your gardening gloves. Keep your succulents aside for two days to let them callus.
2. Soil Dough making

After 2 days, when your succulents have healed, i.e., the ends have dried out. Take a bowl, add the creative soil to it, and mix it with 120-140 ml of water. Make a sticky dough from it, just like your pizza dough.
Fill the 7 cm frame with this creative soil to create the illusion of a brown planet. You can also purchase a moss sphere from your local nursery, selecting the desired size.
3. Pinning Plants

Your makeup’s done, now need to add accessories for a glam night. Just like that, you need to add succulents to your sphere for your plant space ball.
With the help of a poking device you have chosen, like a screwdriver, make a hole in your sphere. Pick one succulent with the help of clippers and secure it in the hole. Repeat this process for all the succulents and add your creativity while arranging them. Keep them compact so they don’t fall from their places.
Tip– If your succulents are wiggling in their places, secure them with greening pins.
Once you complete this procedure, you can add some grasses to the available spaces so they are packed nicely. Hang the sphere in your garden or at your entrance, where it receives 5–6 hours of ample sunlight. Soak the sphere every 15 days in a bowl for 10 minutes. Water them according to your region’s weather.
With this step-by-step procedure, you can create a unique DIY with your succulents. Create yours, and tell us in comments, how you added creativity in your own succulent sphere.
